Need to Re-Install Ubuntu

I need to re install ubuntu on my main computer.
I kind of messed something up badly.
The power went out at my house when
it was updating and it messed up
some dependencies i need to run the IM clients
and some other things.I spent 7 hours trying to fix it last night but had no luck.And certine things i can install with out having others
and those others cant install with out the others.
So its one big mess
Sigh
At least i still have laptop whil
i waste 1 hour installing it again
and getting all the codecs for
all media back.
Good thing all progrmas i need come
all ready built in and stuff
YAY

off to go do this
